The 3 POINT TURN (sometimes called a U-turn) enables you to turn on a narrow road by turning the steering wheel and moving your vehicle OR turning a vehicle around to face the opposite direction

- A 3 POINT TURN is a standard manoeuvre in turning a vehicle around where road or side street is too narrow or big enough to perform a U-turn and requires the use of forward and reverse movements of the car.
- Things to remeber for 3 point turn
- Turn arround in five or less direction changes depending on the road or street . if the strret is too narrow 5 forward and reverse movements are allowed.
- Choose a quiet street and practice in that street.
- Do not practice close to any cross street or Corner Street because it can be dangerous.
- Only start to do three point turn if no vehical is coming in the street & it is safe to do. 5.Do not use driveway of any private property.
- You must indicate for 5 seconds before starting three point turn.
- A signal must be given for the first movement.
- A signal is not required on following movements. 9.Scan all the mirrors, over the left shoulder & right shoulder before starting.
- The wheels should not touch the kerb.
- The wheels must not mount the kerb.
- when strating to reverse look throught the back window of thr car before start reversing.
- Do not reverse more then reqired
